Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

TimeWith collects only the information you explicitly provide, plus usage analytics tied to your account:

• Account information: Your email address, used solely for authentication.
• People: Names and categories of people you choose to track. We do not access your device contacts.
• Interactions: Date, duration, type, and optional notes for interactions you manually log.
• Calendar data: If you enable calendar integration, we read calendar event titles and times to suggest interactions. Calendar events are read on-device only. If you choose to save a suggestion as an interaction, the event's title, time, and duration are stored alongside your other interactions and sync to your account (see Section 3).
• Usage analytics: Events about which features you use (e.g., screens visited, interactions logged, score viewed). These events are linked to your account via a user identifier so we can understand feature usage over time, but we never include personal content such as the names of people you track, your notes, or relationship details. App users can opt out at any time in Settings → Privacy.
• Website analytics: If you visit timewith.app, Google Analytics collects standard web analytics data (pages visited, referral source, general location). No personal data from the app is shared with Google Analytics.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

TimeWith does not collect, access, or store:

• Your device contacts or address book
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Messages, calls, or communication content
• Photos, files, or other media
• Names, notes, or personal content from your interactions
• Device identifiers for advertising purposes
• Any data for cross-app tracking or advertising networks

3. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored in two places:

• On your device: Your data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device and is accessible only through the TimeWith app. On iOS, the database file is protected by the system's Data Protection, which encrypts app data at rest while your device is locked.
• Cloud backup: When you sign in, your data is synced to Supabase (our cloud provider) for backup and cross-device access. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with row-level security, meaning only you can access your own data.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the TimeWith service:

• Displaying your relationship insights, scores, and weekly digests
• Syncing your data across devices
• Sending authentication codes to your email
• Understanding which features are used to improve the app (usage analytics, never personal content)

We do not sell, share, or provide your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

TimeWith uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Cloud database and authentication. Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat: Subscription management (if you subscribe to Pro). Privacy Policy
• Sentry: Crash reporting and error monitoring. Error reports are linked to your account via a pseudonymous user identifier and do not include names, notes, or personal relationship content. Privacy Policy
• PostHog: Product analytics for the mobile app. Collects feature usage events linked to your account via a user identifier; never includes names, notes, or personal content. App users can opt out in Settings → Privacy. Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics: Website analytics for timewith.app only (not the app). Collects standard web traffic data. Privacy Policy

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Export your data: Use the "Export Data" feature in Settings to download all your data as a CSV file.
• Delete your account: Use the "Delete Account" option in Settings to permanently delete all your data from both your device and our servers.
• Access your data: All your data is visible within the app at any time.
• Opt out of analytics: Disable usage analytics at any time in Settings → Privacy → Analytics.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

TimeWith is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
